FABRICATION EQUIPMENT

MaiCo Industries, Inc. is centrally located in the United States in a 115,000sq. ft. facility. We have a large space to assemble or test your fabricated product. Plasma

MaiCo’s Plasma CNC Cutting Table is 16′ X 126′ with a Hypertherm 4400 with a 400 amp plasma torch.

Our plasma cutter also includes the Hypertherm ArcWriter which is a plasma marking capabilities, designed to leave temporary or permanent part identification marks on metal surfaces.

De-Coiler and Storage of Steel Coils

MaiCo Industries, Inc. has plenty of storage capacity for coils of steel. With our Cauffiel De-coiler which has maximum coil leveling and CNC shearing capacity up to 5/8″ thick X 96″ wide, we can level and cut sheets to length for your project. With this capability in our shop, you are guaranteed a competitive price for steel and the ability to be more responsive with your project’s material requirements.

Brake

Our 60′ brake with 5′ deep throat has approximately 1-million pounds of bend force per square inch. We can brake shaft materials up to 3/4″ X 60′ and construct a pole with a diameter of up to 8 foot.

You really have to see this brake to believe it and to appreciate the capabilities.

Saw & Shear

Shear and saw capacity is nearly limitless with multiple Behring Band Saws and an HTC Shear. The band saws are capable of cutting 20″ X 42″ capacity.

Peddinghaus 3-Punch for Flange Fabrication

Peddinghaus CNC 3-Punch Flange line boasts a 150 ton capacity with 300 amp Thermal Dynamics Plasma torch.

Submerged Arc Welding & MIG Welding

The benefits of the submerged arc welding process include higher deposition rates with less heat distortion. Deposition rates approaching 45 kg/h (100 lb/h) have been reported — this compares to ~5 kg/h (10 lb/h) (max) for shielded metal arc welding.

MaiCo Industries has more than 40 Lincoln DC600 MIG welding machines. Our welders are certified per American Welding Society (AWS) with AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.5, in addition to being certified by Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB).
